Getting JExplorer error opening projects

Since a few days, whenever I trigger test-suite I get an alert reading:

[tt:35orgp8y]+--------------------------------------------------+
| JExplorer |
+--------------------------------------------------+
(?) An error has occured in the script on this page
Line:18
Char:44
Error:Object doesn't support property or method 'indexOf'
Code:0
URL:http://www.soapui.org/media/system/js/mootools.js
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
---------------------------------------------------[/tt:35orgp8y]

What is this downloading from soapui.org???
Furtunately this only pops up during the first execution, subsequent runs do not show any such alert.
But since it pops up for each test-suite, it's annoying nonetheless, so how do I stop these errors?

Hello mmoser! Coincidently exactly the same happens to me, and it started some days ago and of course as you say it's annoying.
I couldn't find a solution yet and of course I don't know the cause.
I've uninstalled SoapUIx32 and reinstalled again but now SoapUIx64 and still the same...
I've installed Internet Explorer 10 same days ago, I don't now if it has something to do with it but was the only change in my computer :s
    Hope anyone post a solution.
    Bye.

In my case. IE10 is not in the picture - still using IE9 (since > 1year now). So from my perspective that has nothing to do with it.

I suspect rather, that soapUI is downloading some data for its splashscreen and that this data is fishy or based on some wrong assumption.

Thanks for your details, then I guess it's not important as you can still work, just annoying.
I have to add that not only when starting the application but when opening a TestCase window it pops up too for me
If you find any solution just let me know

    Thank you very much!
Just to let you know it's partially fixed, now the alert won't pop up anymore in application startup but it pops up when you open a test case window.

The same thing started happening again (yesterday or so).

After starting soapUI, it load the web page and then the dialog appears (see below).

After clicking No, the entire process freezes and I have to kill it from Task Manager.

Is there a way to simply disable the loading of the starter page?

EDIT: It is in the Preferences, of course, under UI Settings. :)

      The content of the dialog:

      ---------------------------
      JExplorer
      ---------------------------
An error has occured in the script on this page.

      Line:    0
      Char    0
      Error:    Script error
      Code:    0
      URL:    http://smartbearsoftware.com/js/recent.js

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

Has there been any answer to this issue? I get this as soon as I click on the "Read Tutorial" from the Start Screen.
