Generate a thumbnail

I would like to incorporate a thumbnail from a document/ image in a message.

Is it possible to do it with any library or something like that?

      Thumbnail files are widely used by cameras, other devices, and on the web mainly for providing a smaller version of content in order to take less space and make previews load faster.
