Note: I am seeing the following message in the main window of soapUI:
My machine is connected to the internet, for example I can go directly to the WebServiceMart web page, and run the web service from there.
Any assistance appreciated.

You're getting this message since your computer is offline and soapUI can't access Internet. Without Internet connection you might experience some issues when doing Web Service Testing...
