Error getting response; javax.net.ssl.SSLException

I am trying to send REST api request through https to a remote web server, using SoapUI 5.2.1 and Java 8.

I receive the following error;

Error getting response for [https://***.com.:Request 1]; javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Received fatal alert: internal_error

Please see error.log attached.

Have tried many different workarounds but they didn't help. Any advice?
