Chinese language is replaced with "?" in response

I am using 5.0.0 and native lf option is available at my side as mentioned in my post. Furthermore upon your suggestion i have added avove line in the settings xml but that still doesnt work. :-(

    Can you show the encoding?
    From Menu -> Help -> System Properties
