Cannot renew license of type [TRIAL] to different type [PROFESSIONAL]

one of our SoapUI Pro user is trying to upgrade from Trial license to paid Pro License. getting following error while trying to update the license. Cannot renew license of type [TRIAL] to differen...

I'm having this problem. I just got a license. I downloaded SOAPUI (which is a trial version) and when prompted, I browsed and chose my license file. As soon as I click OK, the message pops up. At this point, I'm unable to use my purchased version.
