Can we input regular expression in Expected Result field in XPath Match Configuration?

I inputted regular expression which I've tested with regular expression tool but Ready API reminds me that the assertion failed.

This is the expression I input in Expected result field.

^\w{8}-\w{4}-\w{4}-\w{4}-\w{12}
