Can SOAPUI be used to test SOAP transmissions to and from a COBOL CICS mainframe-based program?

I am converting COBOL CICS applications from Enterprise Extender transmissions to SOAP transmissions.&nbsp; Is it possible to use SOAPUI to create and test transmissions to and from my mainframe-based program?&nbsp; Thank you for any feedback or suggestions you have.
