Assign variable in the Response SLA box

I am adding a Response SLA assertion to my test step. I can enter a numeric value in the box which represents the timeout in milliseconds. Is there any way to instead enter a variable like a global property (${#Global#ResponseTime}) in the box. This will help me configure the response time for different configurations, without having to edit all the Response SLA's.
