Workspace null in SOAPUI while running from unix

i am trying to run below :   project = testRunner.getTestCase().getTestSuite().getProject().getWorkspace().getProjectByName("Automation Base") While this runs successfully when i do it from SOA...

    project = new WsdlProject("Full path to the project")
