will fail when run the testsuite

i found one issue, that when i run the testsuite first time, every case in this testsuite will fail. then i try to run each testcase for first time, it still failed.
then go into test step in testcase. it successful. run testcase then, it success. at end back to testsuite, it success. so stange.

    Hi,

    What exactly is failing? Are you getting any errors in the Error log?

    it failed due to assertion i set. like xpath check. but the same check will pass when i test it on test step level.

    this is one of the assertion failed message:
    XmlException:error :Unexpected character encountered (lex state 9):'8'

    Thanks for the TestSuite that you e-mailed. I've got a few more questions:

    • What does the request and the response look (in the Message Viewer) like for the TestStep that has a failing assertion? What is the content of the Error Log after that failure? Which TestStep is it?
