Wildcard Xpath matches with CDATA content

When I try to use a content match for an XML tag that has CDATA text, the wildcard feature doesn't work. Is this a bug?

ie.

Match Statement:

Response:

http://domain.com

I cannot use XPath match for content for this case. For any elements that doesn't contain CDATA works.

  • Hi!

I unfortunately can not reproduce this, can you show your entire message and corresponding xpath-assertion?

Are you using the latest version of soapUI Pro?

  • Hi!

ok.. and this is part of a larger xml structure that is being asserted with an xpath assertion? Is this the only element that has a wildcard in the expected content?

  • Yes, It is apart of a larger structure and there are MANY links that need to have the wildcard assertion applied. I had one file that had over 80 of these links that needed to have a wildcard assertion applied.
  • Hi!

duh.. sorry.. not very good support, I agree.. lets get this sorted out; yes, unfortunately it seems we will need your entire response and assertion to be able to reproduce, you can mail it to support@eviware.com if you want to keep it private and we will answer back here for others benefit if applicable.
