Using custom properties causes malformed XML

I've recently started using Custom Properties in my soapUI calls. However, when I right-click->get data->project->property soapUI removes the trailing > from the XML. Thus causing malformed XML.

This happens as soon as I select the property.

Version: soapUI 4.5.0
OS: Fedora 14

    I am also facing the similar issue in linux OS...please update if you could find out a workaround
