Use of MokeService in SOAPUI

Hi,

Is Mokeservice is mandatory to use, while performing load testing using SOAPUI.In my functional test scenario, I'm sending the SOAP request over HTTP protocol through SOAPUI & exepecting the response from the SUT(System under Test)/target system.

So to perform the load testing for the above functional scenario, instead of Mokeservice we can use the SUT/target system IP & port and luanch the SOAP Runner component to inject the request to the SUT/target system & expect the response from it.Please correct me, if my understanding is wrong.Waiting for your response.

    Hi,

    No, the soapUI MockService runner is not mandatory at all. The soapUI Runner will run your soapUI TestCase, just as soapUI would. As long as you have it configured to target the SUT, loadUI will also target that.
