Updating swagger definitions
The question I heard was if I update swagger definitions will requests also be updated to reflect the new schema changes?

The answer is yes. If you have a new request added/new parameters added to the existing request then you could try update function, if you have requests renamed then try the Refactor function. Here are some of the documentation links that could help:

Updating definitions are required for increasing swagger change. the precondition is that your test case / test steps reference the original swagger definition without manually update in source. However, if swagger file defined the same parameter in header and query, then ReadyAPI cannot take 2 to show, especially your dynamic parameter is part of your endpoints, like /abc/123/{name}.
I open a topic is-there-a-way-to-solve-duplicate-parameter-in-both-header to query but did not get a useful response yet. So you may consider it before you update definitions (Surely, in order to run correct endpoint and you have to manually update original source)
