Unreadable menu/text

After doing a clean install on a stand-alone (no Internet) PC running Windows XP SP3 I get the following start-up screen:

It is pretty much unreadable, thus unusable.

Am I missing anything?

Looks like a Graphics driver issue to me.

    What happens if you check

File-> Preferences -> UI Settings -> Native Look & Feel

In addition, SoapUI is running using VMWare Workstation 7.1.1. These porblems seems only to appear when running VMWare in full screen mode. When in windowed mode, or by accessing the virtual machine using MSTSC I have a normal display. Also, when these mutilated graphics appear in full screen mode, switching banck and forth between the full screen and windowed modes a couple of times seems to solve this issue as well.

It was VMWare's SVGA II driver which came with VMTools causing the problems. After removing this, there were no more issues.
