Hi Chuck,
just to check; you mention that that the jar is in your beta2 installation but the testrunner you are running is the 3.0 final version.. have you installed the jar in the 3.0 final release as well?
If not, do you see soapUI picking up the jar when it start? (it should show this in the console output.. )
