Traffic Log in the Soap Monitor

Hi eviware Team,

if I use the Soap Monitor with Web Services, that are available only in our company, everything works fine, but if I call Web Services from the Internet, the Soap Monitor Traffic Log stay empty. I use a Proxy to get access to the Internet, so I think that could be a reason for this problem, but I can't make any configurations to solve this problem.
Can you help me?

Best regards,
Barend Perdok

  • Hello,

The proxy you use to connect to the Internet, is this configured in soapUI, or in the operating system?

    Hello Dain,

the Proxy is in SoapUI configured. Without the configuration in SoapUI I have no access to the Internet.

    Kind regards,

  • Hi,

Please try doing it like this:
    1. When launching HTTP Monitor select "HTTP tunnel" and under "set endpoint for HTTP tunnel" fill in endpoint from the request that you want to monitor (https:// also applicable)
    2. In the request set endpoint to localhost:<port set in HTTP monitor>

This should work for monitoring particular request, unfortunately currently there is no way of doing this for multiple requests with same Monitor settings.
