Threads in SOAPUI and how they relate to LOADUI
When using the load testing functionality in SOAPUI there is often the reference to 'threads' - as in this quote from one of the help pages....
How do these 'threads' relate to what might be happening in LOADUI, what are they equivalent to? Since LOADUI generates loads of requests at once am I right in thinking that each request that is happening at the same time as another is effectively a 'thread'?
So in terms of load testing, if I had LOADUI, I would control the load using that, rather than the load testing functionality in SOAPUI?
Or am I misunderstanding?
When selected, soapUI Pro will create only one instance of the DataSource and share it between all threads in the LoadTest.
