TestSuite for MockService

Hello everybody!
I'm quite new with SoapUI and I'd like to simulate SOAP calls towards a local mock webservice. Is it possible in the free version to build a test suite which allows me to set up some basic assertions like schema compliance?
For instance, in case of a minOccurs="1" statement in the definition of an element in the wsdl file I would expect the assertion to fail if I do not specify the element in the SOAP request, is that possible?

    Hi,

    You can assert your responses for schema compliance. It is possible to send a request missing a required element. But the assertion would apply to the response. You can however validate your request for compliance with the schema using the the Form view in SoapUI Pro.
