TestRunner vs. SoapUITestCaseRunner

i execute SOAPUI testCases from JUnit. there are more than 1 way to do this using the SOAPUI API. What i lack is description of the API. e.g. TestRunner & SoapUITestCaseRunner, when to use what ?  ...
