Testing Asynchronous and Metrics?
Hi All,
I'm looking to Test Asynchronously, was wondering how I would be able to Load Test with LoadUI?
Application Details
Application Server: GlassfishV3
Messaging: ActiveMQ 5.4
Oracle Database: 11
Spring Integration (Lightweight ESB): Version 2
I have a number of Asychronous Web Services which write to Active MQ Queues, these then get picked up by Spring Integration where I have a pipes and filter architecture, and eventually a transformed message get puts into a database and in some cases a Asychronous web service is called.
I'm not sure how I would be able to measure the metrics for Load and Stress in such a system. I can't see how Load UI would be able to connect to Glassfish or another application? I'm guessing I would need to attach some form of profiler for the metrics inside the application such JProbe, YourKit, VisualVM, AppDynamics and the like.
Any help or guidance much appreciated.
Regards
Amjad
