When I did the steps in "Troubleshooting - Common Problems", section 1.2 and added the following, it solved my problem:
6. ...
6.1 Uninstall LoadUI.
6.2 Manually delete the .loadui folder. ("C:\Users\<username>\.loadui")
7. Reinstall loadUI.
Whether steps 1 through 5 are really needed for this issue, I'm don't know. I did them anyway though.
