SSL Alert : Check SSL Protocol

Question

Hi Ole/Smart Bear SupportWe have tests in soapui which accept SSL certificate, so we create our own SSL certificate and pass them to our tests. So we see the below when using soapUI 4.0, but on soapUI 3.6.2 the tests pass successfully.&lt;b&gt;SSL Alert&lt;/b&gt;&lt;p&gt;The browser and the web-site cannot communicate securely because there are no common encryption algorithms.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Please try the following:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;- Check the SSL protocol settings on the browser for SSLv3/TLSv1 protocol support.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;- The secure web-site may be using high-strength encryption algorithms(128 bit).&lt;br/&gt;Check the SSL settings on your browser, if it supports high-strength encryption algorithms.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;- Upgrade your browser to latest version.&lt;/p&gt;What could be the reason for the error?Thanks- A

Hi!Who is giving you that error, a web server used in your soapUI test?It would be great if you could provide some more details on how the test is set up, or even better to provide your project file and hopefully we will be able to locate the problem.-- RegardsErikSmartBear Sweden

Never mind i figured it out we need to add security jars under folder C:\Program Files\eviware\soapUI-Pro-3.6\jre\lib\security

The jars added are : local_policy.jar and US_export_policy.jar
