soapUI thread progress dialog issue

Hi.
I am trying to use soapUI to test web services. This bug I experience is from old times and as far as I see it is not fixed yet.
For testing soapUI, I created simple web service with one method that returns string. I also created soapUI project pointing to this web service. It has simple test suite with test case with only one method call. There is load test which is supposed to create 1000 threads for this method call. When I run this load test, little thread progress dialog is shown as modal over soapUI. Every time I start load test, this window works up until 700 threads and then it stuck. soapUI goes well and test completes but this prevents me from getting test results.

Could you help me by telling me how I can hide this progress window?
Also, is it possible at all to test with 1000 threads in open-source version?
