SoapUI running out of memory then hangs - WinXP

Having an issue with SoapUI Pro 4.5.1 running out of memory then hang. Set my vmoptions to 128k to 768k max. It's been working fine for a few weeks. Today the same tests begin fine but the requests to load up data to a server slows down to a snails pace then hangs.
Is there a way to clear cache or memory manually in SoapUI Pro after running each testcase to ensure memory is not an issue?

    Hi,

    hmm.. you can select the "memory log" tab at the bottom of the main window and right-click in it to invoke the Garbage Collector, which will free up any available memory...

    Does that help?
