SoapUI Pro works without a license

Hi Eviware-crew,

I use SoapUI Pro for a couple of days now.
But today I found out something unexpected.
To protect my license to a save folder (drive C: is public for everyone here), I moved the file to a private network-drive.

But what a surprise: SoapUI Pro still works as usual. Even if there is no more license file.

So what about that? Is this an intended feature?

    Hello,

    soapUI Pro copies the license file to a local system folder when you install it, so that is why it continues working.

    Hi Robert,

    we are trying very hard to comply with your LicenseAgreements.
    But this makes it even more difficult.

    As I told you, usually drive C: is accessible for everyone here in our company.
    And I found that the license was copied to a folder in C:\Documents and Settings.
    Of course we will tell our users, not trying to get someone elses license.
    But we cannot avoid this definitely.

    I'd give my rigth arm for floating licenses now.
