another question: which OS and version of IE are you using? Can you attach a screenshot of the proxy configuration for your internet connection in IE?

SmartBear Software - tdruryContributorOle, I just found the same issue in the free version of soapUI 4.5.1 - I posted the bug on the soapUI bugs forum: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=15200
In a nutshell, soapUI is erasing the Windows Internet proxy settings.

Yes, this is a know issue for us (SOAPUI-4184)).
Try running soapUI with the commandline option-Dsoapui.jxbrowser.disable=true
This will disable the internal browser in soapUI that's causing this behavior.
