SoapUI PRO 4.5.2 VERY slow to startup (9 minutes)

Myself and co-workers are experiencing extremely slow startup time for the SoapUI 4.5.2 application.
When I timed it - it took over 9 minutes for the UI to show up on my screen.



I cannot imagine that this is an isolated issue, but cannot find any information or posts about other users having this experience.
I would have posted this in the SoapiUI Pro board - but my company did not give me a username and pw to use.
Please help.
