SoapUI crash cannot write out default-soapui-workspace.xml
I am pretty sure I fond a bug.
My current setup is: Linux 2.6.32 (Linux Mint 9) x64, Eclipse 3.7, SopaUI 4.0.0.
My eclipse is installed at /opt/eclipse, where only root has write privileges. When I open the SoapUI perspective after I do something like changing the Global Preferences, it crashes entire Eclipse. I am pretty sure the reason is that it tries to write out the file default-soapui-workspace.xml into the install location of Eclipse.
The workaround is to first change Project Root to ${workspaceDir}, and then everything is OK.
As such I am pretty sure this will happen on all operating systems, and even for the SoapUI IDE, I just cannot prove it on all the other OSes.
