SoapUI Can't copy large amounts of Text

I'm trying to copy a large request into SoapUI 5.0. The request is 318,000 characters and the OS is Linux. I can copy the request into gedit and I can copy smaller sections of the request into soap UI. But I can't copy the whole text in one go.

    Hi,

    This may be a limitation, but try to right click in the XML editor, select "Load from..", and select the xml file that has your request.
