SoapUI 5 Pro: Can i use the command line 'TestRunner' to run a testsuite that is not in a project?

I have a few testsuites that are not in a project and i was wondering if TestRunner can run these suites?  If not, is it possible for SoapUI to reference testsuites and testcases when i import them ...

I wasn't aware you could create suites outside of projects, can you explain how that works? The command line runner supports running suites and test cases indvidually but I'll need some more information about your setup before I can figure that one out
