I have two MacBook Pro's with retina. One is a 2012 model, the other I just got so Late 2013. Both have this issue. I'm using latest Java 1.7 from Oracle and am running OS X 10.9.1. The exact issue is that the farther down an editor line I go the more pixels the cursor is "off". By about 80 characters down a line if I had a space the space appears around 2 characters before the cursor on the screen.
I have tried different editor fonts, different sizes, resizing the screen, etc all to no avail. If I drag the SoapUI window to my second monitor (running at 1080p) I do not have the issue anymore. If I bring it back to the retina then the issue is back immediately. I did not do anything to my SoapUI installation (used defaults for everything).
For me the issue appears to be only horizontal, in other words I have no noticed any vertical displacement. My co-workers who have switched to Mac's are all reporting the same issue.
Finally on the retina display settings I have changed nothing. It's set to the factory default of "Best for Display". And also both my Mac's and my coworkers are all 15" models.
This is a pretty severe handicap for us mac users, editing anything is almost impossible if the lines are longer than a few characters.
