SoapUI 4.0.1 still has wsdl null pointer exception bug

I installed soapUI 4.0.1. Initially I could create projects with a wsdl url just fine. Two or three days later I cannot create a project with any wsdl. I uninstalled 4.0.1 and reinstalled 4.0.1 and still cannot create a project. SoapUI is unusable for me. I emailed my colleague the same wsdl url and he can create a project just fine using 4.0.1. I used Oxygen xml editor, which has similar abilities to test web services, and the same wsdl url works fine there. I pasted the wsdl url in IE and ofcourse got a wsdl back from the web service.

    Well this is still an issue. I cannot use this program. I uninstalled, deleted every registry entry that had soapui or smartbear in it. Reinstalled. I still cannot create a project from a wsdl url. However, my colleague next to me with the exact same url can create a project. How do I get this to work? It used to work.

    enable proxy was on. I unchecked the box in preferences. Now it works. I was looking at the outgoing soap requests and responses. I cannot remember if I set this or not. Anyway, Im working again. This forum was really no help by the way.
