SOAP UI will not recognize internet connection while using VPN

Does anyone know why I am not able to use the SOAP UI while working from home using VPN.  In office, the application pulls up fine and Web services can be accessed, but going through the VPN, nothing ...

Can you ping the server running the web service when connected via VPN? You may have to request that the server and port be opened up for your VPN profile.
