selenium tyle testcases using http?

Hello,
I have seen a few post regarding how it is possible to create selenium style tests using soapui pro 3.6. I have tried using the http teststep but not sure how this looks like selenium. Is this feature already released ? This is what I am looking for

1. go to webpage with a form
2. fill out form information
3. post webpage
4. create assertions on the form page and the response page after the form is posted

In general I am looking for some record type of functionality. Not sure if this is supported ?
