Hi, Can a global property be supplied as the defination Url for the assertion to validate against? The assertion fails when I try this but the assertion passes when I hard code the url. Any ideas?...

this should would.. which soapUI version are you using? What is the exact value you are specifying in the url-setting for this assertion?
