Saving the SoapUI desktop?

Not seen this mentioned anywhere yet... would it be possible please to add a feature to save the current 'desktop', i.e. the open test requests etc. and their position in the SoapUI window?

I have a SoapUI instance open almost all the time, containing a number of frequently-used tests, and whenever I need to reboot my PC (e.g. for a Windows update) I lose this setup and have to laboriously go through the projects and find the right test requests again and open them up. It would be much easier to just say "Open saved session"...

    Hi macronencer,

    I agree with you here. Just wanted to suggest maybe using a VM for your SoapUI session in the meantime - this way you could save the state of the SoapUI session. Not a great solution I know, but just wanted to throw the idea out there in case you hadn't considered it.

    But I agree with you, and believe the process of saving a 'workspace' should be extended to include the entire state of SoapUI when closing the app.
