[RES]Groovy step is treated differently when ran from suite

I am trying to loop a set of test steps for a specific amount of runs in the middle of a test suite. I have written a Groovy script to do this. If I disable the Groovy loop script and then run my suit...

I discovered something that seems odd to me. In my script example I have testRunner.gotoStepByName("getUniqueExternalReferenceValues 3") when the conditions of the loop to end are met. In my test suite there are other steps after that step I wish to run. I found that if i disable these then the script works.

Why is that happening?
