[Res] TestRequest availability in a test case

Question

Hi,Is there anyway can we find like, do i have any Test Request type in a test case? For example, i have a test case with one 'Test Request' step and on 'Property Transfer' step. I want to know in anyway whether in my test case, do i have at least one 'Test Request' type step is available or not. is it possible? can anyone help me?

Hi,

You can do this in a Groovy script in your TestCase:

for(testStep in context.testCase.getTestStepList())
{

if(testStep instanceof com.eviware.soapui.impl.wsdl.teststeps.WsdlTestRequest)
{
  //do something with the testStep
}
}

//for a REST Request use this in the if statement:
testStep instanceof com.eviware.soapui.impl.wsdl.teststeps.RestTestRequest
