required option from the resources doesn't work on 4.0

Hey guys,
I've noticed a problem on the 4.0 version of soapUI. The required parameter option from the resources doesn't work.
When you click on a resource and select a certain parameter, let's say mcc and you select the required option for this paramether. Then you send the api call and in the call, the parameter, should be like this: "...&mcc=&blablabla...". This worked on the 3.6 versions of soapUI, but now in the 4.0 versions this doesn't work anymore.
