Reordering testcases in suite doesn't stick

Hi,

I've had this issue since at least 3.5, but it may have happened in 3.0.1 as well. I'm currently running 3.6 Beta 1 (7/7/2010 build) I want to run a testcase at the end of the suite that resets everything back to the default value. I reorder the testcases so this testcases is the last in the suite and save all projects and it does stay that way until I restart SoapIU. At that point the testcase seems to go back to where it was originally or it's location is some random location. Do you know why this could be happening and how it can be fixed? I've gotten to the point where I will just remove that testcase and just run a suite to set everything back to the default which I'd rather not do.

    I'm not sure why this is happening, I can't reproduce it (using soapUI 3.6 beta 1). Could you attach your project file to this thread, or perhaps send it to support@eviware.com so that we can take a look at it?

    Hi,

    Sorry for the delay. I'm using a composite project which is quite large, so I created a new project with 2 suites where this issue is occuring. The testcase I want to run last is called Restore Defaults in both cases. I have attached the project here. I can duplicate this in 3.6 beta2 as well. Let me know what you find out.

    Any updates to this?

    Another question. Our licenses are due to expire Sep 9th. I think I read somewhere that you get a month grace period. If that's the case, do I have until Oct 9th to get the license renewed or should I start the process now? I go on vacation in a week and it takes a little while on our side to process it.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the delay. I was on vacation towards the end of August. I tried the nightly build and it seems to work well. I have one "Restore Defaults" test step that insists on being the next to last no matter how many times I move it to last, but other than that all other test steps I move seem to stay put.
