[Registered] Can't pass an object for Rest Deletes

The option to pass media type in a rest request is not available for delete operations like it is for post/put operations. I'm testing a service that requires this option.

redfish4ktc2 Thanks for the update... I was thinking that was probably the case, but there are a few newer items that have been created there, so I wasn't too sure.

Lucky for me out dev team is going to update the method to accomodate us this time, but said that it is a feature that is allowed and should be supported. I'm guessing this is just a low priority bug, but it's too bad this isn't snuck in after 3 years of being an issue. Seems like such a small change.
  • We have just hit this issue too :-(
Our service supports this - but we cannot test it with SoapUI

Yes - I too need this feature. I spent a few days trying to figure a work around - but, then saw this post.

    Hi,

My API requires a Json Body in REST DELETE method, which is currently not possible in SOAPUI PRO 4.6.0.

    Anonymous Support

Any update on when this feature will be available in SOAPUI PRO.

    Thanks,
    Priyam
