harry can you please describe your scenarios to close project?
For example:
1. you have many test suites / test cases to close in project
2. your ReadyAPI running a long time (i.e. > 10 days) and occupy too much memories result in response slow
3. you create many projects and they are open status and you try to close all projects
4. you have running scripts
5. your git change and did not sync up with ReadAPI
Anyway, you may clean up .readyapi folder to remove history data and increase memory in ReadyAPI.vmoptions under C:\Program Files\SmartBear\<ReadyAPI version>\bin
Usually, ReadyAPI occupied many mem and reach out to 8G for a long time running. in ReadyAPI 3.x, the performance getting better. I am using ReadyAPI 3.5.0 and created 50+ test suites with 10000+ test cases.
Thanks,
/Aaron

I was using ReadyAPI 3.7.0 version earlier i was using ReadyAPI 2.8.2 version. Everyday i usually delete .readyAPI folder & default workspace. I dont have any project are open. Regarding vmoptions file i have already given 14 gb. save was done very quickly.
After Save log. I was seeing project got removed after 2.30hrs.
