Hi,
Please try increasing the memory by modifying -Xmx to -Xmx3072m in {Ready API install}\bin\ReadyAPI-1.1.0.vmoptions and restart Ready API: http://readyapi.smartbear.com/soapui/working/improving_memory_usage

None of this helped
My CPU & Memory goes crazy every time.
If I keep SoapUI Running throughout the day - things get quicky. I even froze up yesterday and lost a lot of work.
Sorry to hear this.
In this case, could you please contact our Support Team to investigate the issue and try to resolve it?

Maybe I was unclear, the problem is not the application crashing the problem is that it uses twice as much memory as Ready! API 1.2.2 and this is simply unacceptable. You cannot release an update of an application that consumes twice as much memory and then suggest users should allow the application to access more memory to stop it from crashing.
For now I will downgrade until this issue is properly resolved and I would encourage Smartbear to thoroughly test this release for memory leaks and investigate the source of this memory consumption.

Agreed!
I was looking through Preferences - usually you can disable most of the Starter pages - but there are more than one - and THOSE are the culprits to most of the startup lagging.
After closing them - things run "ok" for the most part - but I arleady sent some issues to Support.
If you haven't - on Linked-In there is a weekly training session for NG Pro "https://lnkd.in/bcwrqjV"
