Read-only project files

Saving a SoapUI project when the files are read-only causes an error.
However it would save time trying to find the problem if the error message said "Can't save, some project files are read-only"
Rather than "Composite project - errors"
(I set the backup files to read-only, but forgot to set them to normal when I used them).

    Never come across such problem. Usually, projects are created from the scratch within soapui by adding wsdl, then test suites, test cases, and test steps. Even projects can be modified as most os does quite often. In general, it is not a really issue.

    As you clearly mentioned that you are using read-only file, and you might have to take care to change appropriately.

    So, all your request here to show you a specific message? I am sure soapui takes care of worthy enhancements to the product.

    I think your problem is rather unusual. Improving error messages is rarely a bad idea, though. We'll add this to the list of suggested improvements.
