Hi,
Its as we expand and improve our assertions some will be (Deprecated).
You are correct the assertion is going no where soon. But to answer your question, the smart assertion is now used in its place.

The smart assertion allows you to add multiple validations at once, not only on received data, but metadata as well.

Thanks Matt and Sonya.
But my question is when we know HTTP Status code assertion is going to get deprecated then why is check box enabled by default when we are adding new requests.
Each time do I have to uncheck it before adding new Request ?
