Providing projects from a COMMERCIAL service

Hi,

We have a commercial service offering which exposes a number of web services based interfaces. To help new users of the service, in addition to the WSDL and copios docunmentation, we thought that providing a SOAPUI based project might help them get started. However, I'm unclear on any licensing implications of offering this given we charge for our service.

Do people have a view on it?

BR,

Graham

What I believe is that you are providing users a project created in soapui with your services, and consequently the users use soapui for their understanding / testing purposes by importing the project that is provided to them. If this is what you are trying, IMO, I believe there should not be any issue as long as people are using free version of soapui.

    Hi!

    Sounds like a great idea!

Nmrao is right (as usual)! SoapUI projects that you create are your property and you're free to do what you want with them (give them away, sell them, etc.). This goes for both SoapUI and SoapUI Pro projects.
