I'm sorry - can you please clarify what you mean by "refreshing the project" - do you mean the reload project function or something else? I'm working on the wrong laptop so I cant check ReadyAPIs functionality - but I don't remember a refresh.
Ignoring my confusion for now - it sounds like there's some content within your project file/files (if composite) that is causing the problem. The ReadyAPI! logs (errors, http, readyapi! etc.) are written to <User Folder>/. readyapi/logs on your local drive
I know you're saying ReadyAPI! shuts down, so you can't check the logging from within ReadyAPI!, but if you look in the log files that are stored in your profile, they might give you further info to work out what the problem is.
