POST method not returning the expected value

Currently we are working on json webservices. For GET method soapui works perfectly fine but when I try to use the POST method it starts to act funky. Under POST method after I paste the url it takes me to the webservice index page ie top level of webservice page. The hard part is to reveal the exact url for a post method webservice. Any ideas??
